How to Make the Painkiller

PainKiller: A SOGGY DOLLAR BAR CLASSIC

Flavor Profile: Creamy, Pineapple, Nutmeg, Rich, Coconut

History:

The Painkiller was created in the 1970s by Daphne Henderson at the Soggy Dollar Bar in the Virgins Islands. The bar is a paradise for sailors and named by its patrons having to leave their sail boats and wade to land to get access to the bar. Later on, Pusser's Rum patented the cocktail name, and must be used in all Painkillers. If you don't have any around, you can use any aged rum and it will taste great, but you are no longer drinking a Painkiller anymore! (wink, wink)

Notes on Preparation:

While the drink is patented by Pusser's Rum, it does taste great using other rums that may be more available to you!
